This chance seedling is hardy to zone 4 and is similar to a Granny Smith taste however more complex. With that complexity comes the ability to make a great cider. Approximate ripening week: First week of November.

Very Hardy, Semi-Standard Rootstock with red leaves and wood. Will grow to 80-90% of a standard tree or roughly 20ft. We use this rootstock because it produces trees that will be actual trees and importantly should grow taller than the deer can reach.
