Hardy down to Zone 5 this is a classic English heirloom apple. This apple does not store well but has a really excellent pear-like flavor. Because of its lack of storage it is best to grow your own because you probably will never see it on a shelf. Approximate Ripening week: First week of September
B.118 Rootstock
Very Hardy, Semi-Standard Rootstock with red leaves and wood. Will grow to 80-90% of a standard tree or roughly 20ft. We use this rootstock because it produces trees that will be actual trees and importantly should grow taller than the deer can reach.
